Volunteer liaisons are people who serve as an ongoing connection between First Light and a large group. They are volunteer coordinators on behalf of the group, church or agency they represent. These individuals attend two planning meetings a year to schedule their organization for serving meals and/or staying overnight. The liaisons gather, inform, and schedule their groups for each night during their committed week of service.
Some examples of groups that currently have liaisons:
The law firm that serves dinner twice a month
The church group that serves breakfast on the fourth Saturday of every month
The church group that provides dinners and conducts two supply drives per year
The college students who serve dinners and have fun night every Wednesday
The group of corporate women who serve dinner and stay overnight once a month and collect money to donate to First Light
