There is no end to homelessness in sight. We continue to see new faces every day. The fastest growing segment in the homeless population is women with children. First Light remains on the front lines of serving their needs and, for many, is the first step off of the street and toward restoring their safety and well-being. Financial contributions today generally provide services for tomorrow. However, we must look toward the future to ensure the sustainability of this vital agency. The Bill and Weesa Matthews Endowment Fund was established in 2006.
It can be as simple as sending a check to First Light indicating “For the endowment fund” in order for you to help us maintain a long-term presence in the community.
